Mercusys ME30 AC1200 Dual Band Wi-Fi Range Extender
The Mercusys ME30 is a wall-plug Wi-Fi range extender that pushes your existing router's signal into rooms where coverage drops, such as back bedrooms, rooftops, shop storerooms or the far end of a flat. It plugs straight into a power socket, connects to your current Wi-Fi network, and rebroadcasts it so phones, laptops and smart TVs can stay online in those weak spots. Its compact body measures 112 x 84.7 x 39 mm and draws 9.2 W.
The extender works on both bands at the same time, offering up to 867 Mbps on 5 GHz and up to 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, for a combined AC1200 rating. Two external antennas help it pick up the router's signal and send it on with better reach. It follows IEEE 802.11ac, n, a, b and g standards, so it works with routers from almost any brand.
A smart signal LED makes placement simple: green shows a good connection, while orange means the extender is too far from the main router and should be moved closer. The ME30 also includes a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port, a combined Reset/WPS button for quick pairing, and EasyMesh compatibility for use with supported mesh routers. That port lets you connect a desktop, smart TV or game console that has no Wi-Fi of its own.
Fixing Dead Zones Without New Wiring
Many homes and shops in Bangladesh have thick concrete walls that weaken Wi-Fi quickly. Placing the ME30 halfway between the router and the problem area extends coverage without running new cables through walls or ceilings. It is a practical fix for duplex houses, long apartments and small shops where the router sits at the front and the signal fades toward the back.
One-Touch WPS Pairing
If your router supports WPS, press its WPS button and then the button on the ME30, and the two link automatically. Setup can also be done through a browser or the MERCUSYS app, which guides you step by step. After pairing, you can move the extender to its final location.
Ethernet Port for Wired Devices
The single 10/100 Mbps port turns the extender into a wireless adapter for a wired device. A smart TV or desktop near the extender can join the network through a short patch cable. This is often simpler than buying a separate Wi-Fi adapter for older equipment.
Built-In Access Point Mode
When a wired internet line is available in a room, the ME30 can switch to Access Point mode and create a fresh Wi-Fi network from that cable, which is useful in offices with existing network points, guest rooms or a rooftop space wired from the main router.
EasyMesh Compatibility
Paired with an EasyMesh-capable router, the ME30 can join a mesh network so devices move between the router and extender under one network name. WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK encryption keeps the extended network protected.
